Our Mission is to help teachers lessen the burden of spending their own money.

How & What

Teacher Selection

Teachers complete the Fund Application Form. The application will include basic information and a brief reason why this request should be funded. Once a teacher is selected the principal and teacher, of the school, are contacted. When the application is approved for funding, the teacher will be notified and a personal acceptance or a mail award will be determined Approved applications will be awarded in the months of August, September, January and February of the school year. Teachers applications, not awarded, will kept on file and awarded when enough funds are received.

What Happens

Once the method of delivery is set Aid for Educators will personally present or mail the approved teacher the supplies, materials or office gift card requested. If permission is granted, the teacher's name and picture will be included on the Aid for Educators web page. There will be a brief explanation of why the award was given or comment from the teacher and students.

Tiffany Seaberry, 8th Grade - I am expecting and will be out on maternity leave for about 2 months. Now, I can purchase a class set of head phones so my students are able to watch lessons I have recorded while I'm out. I will also use the gift card to restock composition notebooks, glue, scissors, highlighters markers, crayons for the students to use in their interactive math journals. Thank you so much.
